Archbishop Sam Amaga
Chancellor, Salem University
Dr. Sam Amaga is the founder of Salem International Christian Centre (SICC), Abuja, Nigeria. He is also the presiding ArchBishop of Foundation Faith Church Worldwide. For almost 30 years in ministry, Dr. Sam Amaga has brought the raw undiluted word to his generation and has taught principles from the scriptures which has reflected in his leadership and added to the posterity and intergrity of the ministry.
Dr. Sam Amaga received the call into fulltime ministry at a time he was hitting the limelight in the management of a leading Pharmaceutical company in Nigeria, West Africa, in July 1982.A graduate of Microbiology and also holds a C. Th. (Counsellor of Theology) from the Freelandia Institute (Evangelical College & Seminary) in 1988.
He was honoured in 1992 with a Doctor of Theology from Evangel Christian University of America. In 1994, he and his wife were also honoured with Doctor of Divinity from the All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City, Nigeria. As a preacher and teacher of faith, they have become gifts to the body of Jesus Christ. |
VICE CHANCELLOR - PROFESSOR PAUL OMOJO OMAJI
Paul Omojo Omaji comes to the position of Professor of Criminology and the Vice Chancellor of Salem University with a high level of training in social sciences and law, and an extensive experience in strategic leadership and management within community, university, and government sectors. He held most of these leadership and management roles in times of significant organizational changes and delivered excellent outcomes. Professor Omaji completed several graduate and postgraduate degrees, including B.Sc. Hon Dakuku Peterside
Dakuku Adol Peterside, member, House of Representatives, former Rivers State Commissioner for Works, former Local Government Chairman, founding Executive Director of Development and Leadership Institute (DI) based in Port Harcourt.
He is a leadership development expert, management scholar, activist and public policy analyst.
Peterside studied at the University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt where he obtained a bachelors and masters degrees in Haematology and Management respectively. He is a doctoral candidate in organizational politics at the University of Port Harcourt. And he has attended high level leadership courses in Atlanta-USA, Israel, Spain, England and South Africa.
Peterside is a member of Nigeria Institute of Management, (NIM) and fellow, Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (IMCN).
He is Chairman of Board, Empowerment Support Initiative, (ESI), an NGO founded by wife of Governor of Rivers State and sits on the board of five other leading NGOs.
He has also contributed chapters in two leadership books and is published in learned scholarly journals.
