The Centre for Continuing Education and Entrepreneurial Studies (CCE & ES) of Salem University serves as the anchor point for continuing education, life long learning and professional development. It is one of the academic units of the University and functions within the broad network of Salem University's vision and mission. The centre was established to provide access to flexible equitable education for those who are yearning for education and who missed out their initial opportunities to acquire higher education.
VISION
CCE & ES is a Centre of excellence for the production of graduates who are worthy in learning, character and entrepreneurial skills as well as sound in mind, body and spirit for outstanding leadership and global impact.
ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES AND SPECIALTIES
The Centre offers non-degree programmes designed at improving learners’ employable skills, competencies, approaches and abilities, to enable them recognize opportunities around them for financial empowerment, job and wealth creation. Also on offer are basic life-long vocational skills
development stand alone courses, non-degree academic programmes, entrepreneurship and business management training for people:
- Seeking admission into tertiary institutions or wanting to complete requirements (JAMB/GCE, O'LEVEL, NECO coaching) for such admissions.
- Seeking self-learning activities for personal
development.
- Needing training, further information and capacity
building in their current businesses.
- Desiring access to basic/formal/further education as out-of-school youth/adults, who missed their first opportunity at schooling.
- Needing further information, training and capacity building in their self employed occupations, trade or businesses.
- Seeking academic qualifications for professional progression.
